En Primeur This recently resurrected estate, run by Bernadette and her daughter Marie-Pierre Lacoste, oenologists both, has been producing finely-tuned, delicate and fresh-styled Barsacs for several years now. This time, at 125 g/l residual, they have considerably more sweetness but all in harmony with the very fresh, almost citrus style of the fruit. Bill Blatch
Wine Advocate 87-89 points: The 2009 Clotte Cazalis is missing some complexity on the nose: very primal with lime leaf and nectarine. The palate is medium-bodied, with very fine acidity and minerality. Tightly coiled towards the finish with moderate length, it just needs a little more aromatic ambition.
